Experience the awe-inspiring spectacle of humpback whales on our 1 hour 45 minutes Whale Watching Tour. This is whale watching with a shot of adrenaline!
From December to April, and especially from January to March, you’ll have the chance to witness one of nature’s most incredible migrations as these majestic whales make their way to Hawaii's warm waters for breeding and calving.
Our expert guides will take you on an unforgettable adventure along Oahu’s stunning Waikiki coastline, where you’ll not only spot humpback whales, but also keep an eye out for playful spinner dolphins and graceful sea turtles. It’s an up-close look at some of the ocean’s most magnificent creatures, all while soaking in the beauty of the sea.

About Our Boat
At Diamond Head Cruises, we prioritize quality over quantity.
Unlike larger, overcrowded charters, we limit our tours to just six passengers, providing a safer, more personalized experience aboard our iconic 28ft black and yellow high-speed adventure raft. You'll experience an exhilarating ride along the Waikiki Coast, all while staying comfortable and secure. Please remember to use the restroom beforehand, as there is no toilet on the boat.
Parking:
We are located at Kewalo Basin Harbor in Honolulu. There is Parking at the harbor that is Pay-to-park it is $2 per hour. Taking an Uber from your hotel is also a convenient option as parking can sometimes be limited.
Arrival/Departure:
Please arrive at the loading dock 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time. To ensure a timely start, we depart promptly for all tours. If you arrive after the scheduled departure, your ticket may be forfeited and is non-refundable. A team member will meet you at the gate 10 minutes prior to your tour time let you onto the doc. Plan ahead and be on time.
Will I see dolphins on my tour?
Our guides are always on the lookout for spinner dolphins, and the earlier you head out, the better your chances of spotting these playful ocean friends. During whale season (December to March), whale sightings are also a possibility, adding an extra touch of excitement to your adventure!
Sea Sickness:
While the waters near Waikiki are typically calm, conditions can change. If you're prone to motion sickness or aren't used to being on the water, we recommend consulting with your doctor about possible preventative measures before your tour.
Weather-Related Cancellations:
In the event of unsafe weather conditions, we will cancel the tour. If this occurs, you will be notified via email, text, or phone call, and you will have the option to reschedule.
Cancellation Policy:
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy. To cancel or reschedule, please contact us by phone or email at least 48 hours before your tour. Unfortunately, cancellations made after this time will not be eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
Refunds:
If you cancel your tour within the 48-hour window, you will receive a full refund. For tickets purchased through third-party vendors, we are not responsible for issuing refunds. Please refer to the cancellation policy of the third-party service for further details on rebooking or refunds.
Minimum Guest Requirement:
Tours operate with a minimum of three (3) guests per scheduled time slot. In the event this minimum is not met, we reserve the right to reschedule or adjust your reservation time accordingly. Guests will be contacted as early as possible to coordinate an alternate time.
